Overcrowding problems persist at Letterkenny University Hospital

Letterkenny University Hospital was the third most overcrowded hospital in Ireland this morning according to the latest trolley watch report.

There were 47 people awaiting admission there this morning.

That was beaten only by Cork University Hospital with 54, while there was 105 people on trolleys in University Hospital Limerick.

A further 30 were waiting at Sligo University Hospital.

Nationally, there were 591 people waiting at hospitals across the country today.
