A water supply for more than 2,700 consumers in south west Donegal has been removed from the Environmental Protection Agency's remedial list.
It follows a €3.8m upgrade on the Owenteskna/Kilcar scheme.
Works are continuing on six other water supplies in County Donegal; they include Cashilard and Glenties-Ardara.
It's expected all six schemes will be removed from the Remedial Action List by the end of the year.
Irish Water's Regional Compliance Specialist Dr Pat O Sullivan has been telling Ocean FM News why schemes are on that list, as well as outling the work done on the Owenteskna/Kilcar scheme.
