Parental alienation needs to be recognised by government departments

The issue of parental alienation needs to be recognised by a number of government departments according to Sligo Councillor Sinead Maguire.

The Fine Gael Councillor says various government departments such as health, justice and equality, and need to recognise parental alienation which is affecting many families.

The Sligo Strandhill Councillor says parental alienation has recently been acknowledged by the World Health Organisation and that the government should follow suit:
