There's said to be a crisis in recruiting teachers and substitute teachers in the North West.
It has led to calls on Education Minister Norma Foley to take decisive action on the matter.
General Secretary of the ASTI, Sligo's Kieran Christie has been raising the issue at the ASTI's annual convention in Wexford this week.
