A Donegal pharmacist says clarity is needed on whether pharmacy staff or just pharmacists will be vaccinated against Covid-19.
That's according to Tom Murray of Murray Pharmacies in Donegal who is also a member of the Irish Pharmacy Union's Pharmacy Contractors Committee.
A meeting was held recently with local representatives where a number of concerns were raised.
Tom Murray says other health organisations have received PPE but pharmacists have not received their fair share.
He says a big reason for the required clarity and PPE is the number of people going to pharmacies after leaving a Covid-19 testing centre and those presenting themselves on a daily basis with Covid symptoms.
