Sligo County Council has received a planning application for the construction of 44 houses and apartments in Sligo town.
The application submitted to Sligo County Council on July 3rd is for the proposed development of 44 units in Caltragh in Sligo town.
The development will consist of 12 two bedroom apartments, 14 three bedroom semi-detached houses and two three bedroom terrace houses.
In addition to that there will be three, four bedroom detached houses, 12 four bedroom semi-detached houses and one four bedroom terrace house.
The application also consists of a public open space and works to existing site boundaries.
There are also proposals to create a new entrance for traffic onto Newtownholmes Road in Caltragh.
Owenmore Quality Homes has submitted the application.
