Planning permission submitted for new Sligo private hospital.

Planning permission has been submitted to Sligo County Council for a new private hospital.

It's proposed to construct the new facility at the Kingsbridge Private Hospital site,

Conor Flemming, Business Development Manager with Kingsbridge Private Hospital, says a new private hospital is hoped to begin construction towards the end of this year.

St. Josephs of the App-a-rition Nuns opened the hospital in 1957 which was then known as St. Josephs Gardenhill; in 2015 it was taken over by Kingsbridge Private Hospital Group.

Speaking to OceanFM's Claire Ronan, Conor Flemming says wide range of services will be available.
