Thousands of new jobs could be created around Knock, Co Mayo with EU support.
That’s according to Midlands North-West MEP, Chris MacManus.
Ireland West Airport passenger numbers slumped during Covid and following Brexit.
Now the airport wants to progress plans for a new business campus.

Chris MacManus has asked the EU to exempt Knock from state aid rules, saying that would allow the government to fully fund the project.
