Political parties accused of reneging on forestry, national herd promises

The Ireland's Future organisation has reacted with fury to a recent article in Irish Examiner newspaper by Minister for the Environment Eamon Ryan.

The article states it is the intention of government to plant 30% of the country and reduce the national herd.

Founder of Ireland's Future Gerry Loftus says this is in complete contradiction to what was said by the main political parties during the election campaign.
