A major allocation of Government funding for two major regional enterprise projects in the North West has been announced by Minister for Business Heather Humphreys
A number of successful border county projects from the North East and North West have been approved to share in the €17m Border Enterprise Development Fund 2020.
In total, over €4.8 Million is being allocated to the North West.
In Sligo, €1.9 Million has been allocated to 'Sligo Leitrim ITS Regional Development Projects to help with the costs associated with the setup of a Digital Futures Manufacturing Centre, which will be based in Sligo.

The Manorhamilton Innovation & Development and education CLG has been awarded €2.95 million to develop a new Innovation and R&D Centre for the Quarry and Construction industry.
JJ O Hara is the project manager at the W8 centre where the Manorhamilton Innovation & Development and education CLG will be situated.
