Post office closures: 'a flawed and rigged process' according to FF TD

A Sligo/Leitrim TD has described the procedure for closing post offices as 'a flawed and rigged process.'

Fianna Fail Deputy Marc MacSharry raised the issued in the Dail yesterday, referring specifically to the closure of Ballinfull Post Office, which served the Maugherow area of North Sligo.

In a lengthy reply to Deputy MacSharry, Minister of State at the Department of Communications Sean Kyne briefly referred to the Ballinfull closure:
