It's looking like the new school project for Gaelscoil na gCeithre Máistrí in Donegal town could be given the green light once more.
The project was one of 58 right across the country which had been paused due to a Government decision to stall funding.
However in a statement this afternoon, Education Minister Norma Foley has confirmed that an agreement has been secured to guarantee and support the rollout and continuation of the Department's ambitious school building programme.
This will include provision for all of the 58 schools that were temporarily paused to progress to tender and construction stage with Department officials set to contact the schools directly.
