Nearly 600 people were affected by power outages in the Sligo town area yesterday evening.
There was no power in the Oakfield, some parts of Strandhill area and there was a blackout in Maugheraboy as well.
Some residents were without power for most of the evening.
The problem appeared to be with the Oakfield substation, according to a local Councillor.
The ESB says most homes and business were restored by midnight last night.
Update last night 9pm:

There is no power in the Oakfield Strandhill area and there was a blackout in Maugheraboy as well.
Some residents were without power for most of the evening.
The ESB says it hopes to have power back to all areas by 11:30pm tonight.
Speaking to Ocean FM News in Maugheraboy, Sinn Fein Councillor Chris McManus said the problem appears to be with the Oakfield substation:
