Major work has been carried out at one of the best-known fisheries and salmon angling spots in the north west.
It's at Ballisodare in County Sligo, where, in the past, a section of the fishery was vulnerable to illegal activity as it was the entry point for salmon from the tide into freshwater.
Suzanne Campion, head of business development at Inland Fisheries, has been telling Ocean FM News about the work that's been done at Ballisodare.
