Leitrim County Council is one of those that will be hearing from a number of presidential hopefuls today as part of what's being dubbed 'Super Monday'.
There are now at least 15 candidates interested in running for President of Ireland and they need the backing of four county councils or 20 Oireachtas members to be nominated.
At least 6 potential candidates are set to make a presentation to councillors in Leitrim today, including businessman Sean Gallagher who got the backing of the Council last time round.
