Pringle questions Ireland's efforts on peace in Northern Ireland

A Donegal Independent TD has accused the Irish Government of doing 'very little' in contributing to peace in Northern Ireland.

 

Deputy Thomas Pringle made the comments in the Dail last evening and also expressed concern over the Government proposed review of Ireland's neutrality.

He believes that Irish neutrality deserves a Citizens' Assembly, not just a public forum.

 

The forum, Deputy Pringle believes, should instead focus on how to strengthen Ireland's stance on peace, especially in light of the 25th anniversary of the Good Friday Agreement:
