Gardai will hold a property marking event in Sligo tomorrow, Thursday.
It's being organised by the Community Policing Unit at Sligo Garda station and will take place at the car park at IT Sligo from 11am to 1pm.
All welcome to attend. People are asked to just bring along their property and their Eircode.
Every year hundreds of thousands of euro worth of stolen property is recovered from the hands of criminals, but all too often there is no way of identifying its rightful owners.
