Protest against military coup in Sudan taking place in Sligo today

A protest is taking place this afternoon against the military coup in Sudan.

Sudanese have taken to the streets this week against General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan’s take over with confrontations between soldiers and protesters taking the death toll to at least 11.

The demonstration in Sligo is taking place outside the Post Office from 2pm today
