Protest taking place in Sligo over potential Post Office closures

Hundreds of people are expected in Sligo Town today for a protest against proposed post office closures.

21 post offices in the Norhwest have already been earmarked for closure; 13 in Donegal, 4 in Sligo and 4 in Leitrim.

A number of public meetings have already taken place across the Northwest in Cliffoney, Ballinfull, Dunkineely and Gurteen.

Sinn Fein Cllr Thomas Healy says it's an 'SOS call'.
