Protests against maternity restrictions are taking place at Letterkenny University Hospital and a number of other hospitals around the country this morning.
Maternity advocacy group AIMS is calling for partners to be allowed to attend all pre-natal scans and throughout labour.

Demonstrations are also planned at Holles Street and The Coombe in Dublin and Our Lady of Lourdes in Drogheda, Co. Louth.
Further protests are also planned for later this week.
