A public consultation is now open for the Carrignagat to Collooney Active Travel Project.
The scheme will include the likes of footpaths, upgraded bus stops, enhanced pedestrian linkages to the train station, public lighting, road signage and lining, and drainage.

It's hoped that works can begin next month.
Local Cllr Thomas Walsh says the community have been eagerly awaiting for this project to be completed and it will make a huge difference to all road users:
