Public urged to take notice of weather warnings

Met Eireann is forecasting heavy rain for North West.

A status yellow rainfall warning is in place for Sligo, Leitrim and Donegal as well as Galway, Mayo Roscommon Longford, Clare and Kerry.

The warning is valid until early tomorrow morning with localised flooding likely.

Liz Coleman from Met Eireann says it's imperative that the public take notice of this latest warning with flooding likely to take place in many areas.
