An Independent TD has described the person who penned a HSE response as it relates to Day Care services in the North West as clearly knowing very little about Co. Leitrim.
There's ongoing concern that some of the centres in the region have not fully restored services post-Covid.
The community of Easkey is said to be one of the worst affected by the issue.
Deputy Marian Harkin says many elderly people across Leitrim and Sligo still don't have access to the service which they have come to rely on:
