The R280 road in Leitrim village will partially reopen to vehicular traffic only for a time this evening.
Leitrim County Council say it will be from approximately 5:30pm.
The road will be re-opened initially for single lane traffic only.
Traffic lights will be in operation to manage the traffic.

The footpaths on both sides of the village will remain closed until further safety measures are put in place in the coming days.
