The R287 road from Sligo to Dromahair remains closed this Thursday morning from Aughamore Cross to Ballintogher, because of the mountain gorse fire at Killery, near Ballintogher.
The road closure is due to the need for access for emergency vehicles involved in fighting the blaze and ensuring the protection of houses and property.
