A south Donegal weather station has recorded the highest temperature for January.
According to Met Éireann's latest Weather Statement, 14.2 degrees celsius was recorded at Finner Camp on Monday, January 13th.
Finner also recorded record gusts during Storm Éowyn at 150 km/h.
While rainfall nationally was below average, the station at Johnstown Castle in Wexford recorded its wettest January since 1998.
