The president of IT Sligo, Brendan McCormack has warned of a changed landscape and novel challenges for third level student in the new academic year.
Fears had been expressed this week that many students will find it difficult to return to third level education due to the financial consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Dr McCormack says the new academic year will start on September 28th. He expects an increased numbers of students will be looking to avail of 'hardship fund' that the college have in place to support students. He says it vital that students have the infrastructure in place to help them complete their studies:
