Renewed appeal on anniversary of unlawful killing of Donegal man

Gardaí in Milford are renewing an appeal for information on the tenth anniversary of the death of Kieran Callaghan.

Gardaí believe that 50-year-old Kieran Callaghan was murdered at his home in Roshine, Churchill between the 5th and 7th July 2013.

He had four adult children.

On the week of his death, he had attended events as part of The Gathering and met up with relatives from all over the world who were in Churchill for the Callaghan family reunion.

Kieran’s body was found by a family member in his home in Sunday 7th July 2013.

An inquest held last year found that he died as a result of blunt force trauma with coroner Dr Denis McCauley returning a finding of unlawful killing.

An intensive Garda investigation is still live and is been conducted through the Incident Room in Milford Garda Station.
