Renewed calls for funding for new primary care centre in Tubbercurry

There are renewed calls for money to be provided for a new primary health centre in Tubbercurry.

Independent Councillor Margaret Gormley says it's HSE policy to have as many services as possible in one location, such as in primary care centres.

But she says planning for such a centre to serve Tubbercurry and the surrounding area cannot proceed to the next stage unless the health minister allocates the funding needed:
