Renewed hopes of progress on notorious apartment complex in Ballisodare

There are renewed hopes of progress on the notorious apartment complex in Ballisodare.

The Old Mill complex, comprising of around 70 apartments has been derelict for many years now, and has been described as an eyesore on the outskirts of the village.

However, it's understood that the owner has been in discussion with the CEO Sligo County Council with proposals now submitted to the Council for consideration.

Cllr Thomas Walsh says its anticipated that more details on the proposal will be revealed soon:
