A walker was hospitalised following a multi-agency operation on Croagh Patrick which included Sligo-based Coast Guard helicopter Rescue 118.
Shortly after 12.40pm on Friday, the Mayo Mountain Rescue Team were called out to assist a woman who was suspected to have sustained a head injury on the cone of the peak.

Despite the challenging conditions, the Mountain Rescue Team managed to reach the casualty.
After receiving treatment, Rescue 118 airlifted the woman to Mayo University Hospital for further treatment of her injuries.
