Rescue 118 conduct a number of operations over the weekend

The Rescue crew of the 118 Helicopter were involved in a number of operations over the weekend.

The crew attended 6 callouts in total, three of which occurred yesterday.

One operation took place in the Donegal bay area where a child was been blow out to sea on an inflatable toy.

The boy was rescued prior to the crew arriving on the scene.

Another mission involved the crew assisting the Killybegs Coast guard unit aiding a patient who injured themselves in a difficult to reach area.
