Residents urged to submit opinions on proposed N17 route

People living between Collooney in County Sligo and Knock in County Mayo are being reminded to make their views known on proposals for a new N17 route between the towns.

Sligo Sinn Fein Councillor Thomas Healy says the project is currently at planning and design stage, with a number of different routes being examined.

He's the latest among a number of councillors to highlight the importance of local people looking at the route options and making their views known before it's too late.
