Restoration works hoped to begin soon on Ballygrania Bridge

Restoration works are hoped to begin in the coming months on the Ballygrania bridge in Collooney.

€35,000 has been allocated to carry out the works that have now gone to the tender stage.

Sligo Councillor, Thomas Walsh is welcoming the news.

He says a number of accidents have happened on the bridge in the past.
