Sligo County Council and Sligo gardai have confirmed that parking restrictions at beaches, parks and other amenity in the county are being eased from today.
However, they say people should adhere to travelling within their own county or within 20 kilometres of their home if crossing county boundaries.
Council Cathaoirleach Cllr Dara Mulvey and Acting Chief Executive Tom Kilfeather says people should continue to be vigilant in what they describe as 'the critical days and weeks ahead.'
Cllr Mulvey says caution remains the key word.
