The government is being urged to upgrade the entire Sligo to Dublin Road to a motorway.

That will be one the main messages during a protest in Dublin today by a group from Sligo led by businessman Anthony Gray.

The Revive Northwest group says people from the region have been promised for over 15 years that the full N4 route will become a motorway.

It's currently undergoing a partial upgrade but the group says further improving the infrastructure will create jobs and boost the economy in the area.
