Richard Burke to be sentenced today for manslaughter of Jasmine McMonagle

The sentencing hearing begins today of a man who was found guilty of the manslaughter of his partner in Co. Donegal.

28 year old Jasmine McMonagle was strangled and beaten to death in her home in Killygordon in January 2019.

Last month, a court found her 'on and off' partner, Richard Burke, guilty of manslaughter by reason of diminished responsibility.
