RNLI lifesaving crews in County Donegal launched their all-weather and in-shore lifeboats 56 times last year, bringing 82 people to safety.
Twenty-one of those launches were during the hours of darkness.
Bundoran RNLI launched 18 times last year, coming to the aid of 19 people.
The figures have been released in advance of the RNLI's Mayday Mile fundraiser, which will run for the month of May.
