A road is blocked in south Sligo after a car reportedly hit a bridge in the last hour.
The route impacted is the stretch from Drumfin into Riverstown with major tailbacks reported in the area.
Sligo County Council has advised that the road is treacherous and is impassable with people asked to avoid the area and to seek alternative routes.
There are no reports of any injuries.
