The road at Quarryfield Crossroads, Bunninadden, in south Sligo, is closed following a road traffic accident between a car and a truck.
Gardai are carrying out a forensic investigation at the scene.
UPDATE: A Stop/Go system is now in place at the location for one line of traffic.
