Motorists in west Donegal are urged to take even more care and expect delays as the 6th stage of the An Post Ras is reaching the stage final in the next hour.
It has passed through Ardara and Glencolmcille and will be finishing in Donegal Town at around 2pm.
Gardaí and stewards will be in place at major junctions.
In Donegal Town, Main Street, Bridge Street and the Diamond will be closed to facilitate the arrival.
