A rottweiler dog has been seized following an attack on a man in Inishowen over the weekend.
The man suffered injuries to his leg while he was out for a run on the greenway on Sunday morning.
The dog was since seized by members of An Garda Síochána and the Dog Warden.
The attack in Donegal is one of a number of dog attacks that have taken place around the country in recent weeks, leading to calls for bans on certain restricted breeds.
