RSA urging public not to drive under the influence ahead of New Years Eve

The Road Safety Authority is urging members of the public to make arrangements following New Years Eve celebrations.

Figures released by the Gardaí show 173 people were arrested in the past week for driving under the influence, including one motorist in Sligo on Thursday.

Brian Farrell from the RSA says there are a number of ways to get home if you're having a drink this evening:
