The Oireachtas Committee on Rural and Community Development is continuing its two-day visit to Co Leitrim today.
The committee was in Carrick on Shannon yesterday to launch a report on rural transport which made 14 recommendations for improving transport links in Ireland.
One of the recommendations was that commuter services should run between rural towns and urban areas from morning to mid-night.
Member of the committee, Sligo Leitrim Sinn Fein Deputy Martin Kenny says the group will be visiting Drumshanbo today.
