Sadness as former head of Yeats Society Sligo dies

The former head of Yeats Society in Sligo has died.

Stella Mew had been associated with the Yeats Summer School since 1965 and was also a former head of Rathdown school in Glenageary, Co Dublin.

The current Director of Yeats Society Sligo, Susan O'Keefe has been paying tribute to Ms Mew and says she was a leading light in keeping the story of Yeats alive:
