Safety and improvement works are being carried out at a primary school in Collooney in Sligo.
Funding has been approved for road and footpath works at Scoil Mhuire agus Iosaf, Collooney.
The works include additional parking, a mini-roundabout, a raised speed table and a new set-down/pick up area at the school.
Sligo Drumcliff Fine Gael Cllr Thomas Walsh says the works will help alleviate traffic congestion in the area at present.
