Saoirse McHugh has been announced as the latest candidate that will contest the upcoming European elections in the Midlands- North West constituency.
Ms McHugh, previously a member of the Green Party will run as an Independent candidate.

It is not the first time the Mayo native has contested a European election as she secured over 50,000 first preference votes in 2019.
This year's European elections take place on June 7th with 5 seats up for grabs in the Midlands- North West constituency.
