Scanlon says FF will restore Rehabilitative Training Allowances

A general election candidate says an allowance for people with disabilities will be restored if his party is in government.

Outgoing Sligo/Leitrim Fianna Fail Deputy Eamon Scanlon previously described the decision to cut the Rehabilitative Training Allowance to new entrants as 'mean-spirited.'

The allowance is for young students with a disability and amounts to €31.80 per week.
