An extensive search and recovery operation for a missing kayaker led by Gardaí is continuing off the coast of Donegal.
The alarm was raised when Paul Buchanan failed to return after setting off from a pier near Gweedore on Thursday evening.

The kayak of Mr Buchanan, who is in 50s and from Ramelton was found north of Tory Island on Friday.

Bunbeg Coast Guard, Arranmore RNLI, Lough Swilly RNLI, Rescue 118 and Rescue 199 helicopters have all been involved in the recovery to date.
