Searches continue along Donegal coastline following €4M drugs discovery

Searches are continuing along the Donegal coastline following the discovery of over 4M euro worth of suspected cocaine on Donegal beaches last week.

Two packages which are believed to contain more than 60kg of the suspected drug were found washed up on Tramore beach in Dunfanaghy and Ballyhiernan beach in Fanad on Wednesday.

Anyone with any information in relation to the discovery of these packages are being urged to contact Gardaí.

People are also being urged to be conscious of the packages that have been recovered and should anyone see any similar or any other marine debris that attracts their attention, they’re are requested to contact Gardai immediately.

Investigations are ongoing.
